In India, several small government schools lack basic educational infrastructure which leads to health issues like backache, bad handwriting, and poor concentration.
DESKIT not only helps children carry their books safely but its detachable table also helps them to sit straight while studying which improves their concentration in class, increasing their ability to learn.
Also it can be used by students both in school and their homes.
We at Prosoc intend to reach #DESKIT to the remotest parts of the country where children often do not have basic infrastructure support to study.
@AdityaBirlaGrp has been a regular supporter of DESKIT that has helped us take DESKITs to different parts of India.
We are excited to explore what our partnership with these local student entrepreneurs have in store for us.

An IIT-K senior of mine called me and invited ProSoc to be a part of the 2 days event by SVERI's Sobus Center of Excellence
The idea was to explore how ProSoc can be a an enabler to accelerate rural innovation and social entrepreneurship in Pandharpur Taluka of Solapur District
We interacted with aspiring entrepreneurs from SVERI. We will soon be working with them on the #DESKIT pilot project.
This also gave us the opportunity to share our work with @Sobusinsights and @WHEELSGF teams.
Thank you, Amarjit for giving DESKIT a platform.
With the support of several partners, we have been able to take DESKIT to 5,50,000+ children across 22 States of India.
This Children's Day, join us to provide DESKIT to more children. For support, reach out to us at [email protected]#missioneducation#educationforall
#ChildrensDay is special for us.
On 14th November 2016, #DESKIT was launched as a ‘school bag convertible into a study table’, with a mission to provide access to the educational infrastructure to children across the world.
