@WagsPax@JesseGranger_ I really like the Howden Saad Smith line rn. So much speed and surprising chemistry. I’d experiment with:
Barby Eichel Holtz
Doro Hertl Marner
Bowman Karly Stone
Saad Howden Smith
@NHLJackManning@mundyc3 I’m really curious what held him back in the AHL level? It surprises me so much that he’s able to produce so much in the KHL but not translate like other top KHL scorers.
@NHLJackManning Oh wow nice. Those guys have a very prototypical VGK size too. I’m sure skating isn’t a deal breaker, when you look at guys like Stone, Dorofeyev and McNabb and Bowman on our team. As long as the skills you can offer can compensate for sure. Very interesting!
Certain things have been happening way too much this homestand
-Saad misplaced passes
-Lauzon penalties
-Marner passing up a good shot
-Smith almost scoring but not scoring
@Jfal13Stanley@CarolFairbroth1@SinBinVegas Expanding on that, in my viewings his conditioning and agility is deteriorating with age. Seems more turnover prone and worse at moving the puck, and puck movement imo was the name of his game. Probably only someone reliable in emergencies.
@JoonasEnonkosk1@GoldenKnights@HSKnights He’s a really high IQ player with a quick shooting release. We definitely need some depth scoring. He’s got 7 goals, 5 assists in 12 games in the AHL this year, 2nd on the team in points/game. good player for a depth role too, he’s big and does a lot of little things right.
Mark Stone has 13 points in 6 games
After a group collective average of 12.1 games each, Howden, Saad, Smith, Sissons, Kolesar, Reinhardt and Holtz have a total 12 combined points.

@M1rkoslav@JesseGranger_ He definitely is capable if you watched his rookie season and more importantly his playoffs in New Jersey. He’s still young and has time to improve consistency. If Lindbom didn’t look almost as ready as Schmid they wouldn’t split games 50/50.
