Over the hills and far away.
Jesus bled and died for me.
Oh Jesus!,oh Jesus!
Now my life is free from sin.
Jesus paid the price for me.
Oh Jesus! Oh Jesus!
Now my life is whole again.
Jesus is my sacrifice.
Oh Jesus! Oh Jesus!!

A man gives everything he has to save his sick father, but despite his sacrifice, the father passes away. Now, the son is left struggling, burdened by the weight of his own selflessness. It is heart-wrenching enough as it is, yet a "Christian" speaker used this story as a case study for why those who are poor need to be "wicked"—defining wickedness as the act of hoarding money and withholding it from those in need.
What is truly staggering isn't just the speaker's words, but the environment in which they were said. The pastor hosting the podcast offered nothing but a "wow" in response. There was no correction, no pushback, and apparently no desire to edit such a toxic sentiment out of the broadcast. To hear a leader stay silent in the face of such a distorted message is deeply troubling.
Any ideology that encourages a believer to be a hoarder rather than a giver is contrary to the heart of the Gospel. Promoting that kind of mindset is wrong; it is a worldly, cynical way of thinking that has no place in our faith. We are called to be different, yet here we are, adopting the very ideologies we should be guarding against. I truly pray for that man's soul and for the discernment of those who platform him. We must remember that the love of money is the root of all evil, and we cannot let the fear of poverty turn us into people who lack compassion.
Yesterday night on Palm Sunday,
As you all were in bed,
Over a dozen Christians were shot and slaughtered with machetes in Jos Nigeria by a group of violent barbaric terrorists invaded the community and murdered them.

Almost 20yrs ago, standing in front of screening committee of my school for prefect-ship, a teacher asked me : “all your classmates wants you to be head boy but your records say you don’t pay school fees on time, we can’t be sending our Senior Prefect home”.
My answer was clear : “school fees issue is beyond me and I’d tell my dad if something can be done, as for me and what I can control, I will give my all if given the chance”.
I emerged and Old Soldier wore his super hero cape to fix things.
God bless our parents.
Your knowledge of the freedom and liberty you have in Christ is not supposed to make you arrogant, disrespectful, or insulting.
It’s supposed to help you season your speech with salt, so that your words bring hope and life to someone.

Merry Christmas from the Adeniyis @FavourUka_
Peace on Earth & Goodwill to All Men ❤️✨
May the light of His peace and love flow in your homes and hearts.
As you eat, flex, and wear your new clothes this Christmas.
I have a question to ask you:
Have you truly accepted the Jesus we celebrate? Is He the Lord of your life, or just a name you mention once a year?
Do you know the real reason He was born? It wasn't for the feast or the fashion. He stepped into this world with a divine purpose that demands your attention.
Do you know He came to die for the sins of the whole world? He took the nails, the shame, and the weight of your transgressions so that you wouldn't have to. It was a rescue mission for your soul.
Do you know that if you don't believe in Him, you will go to hell? This is the sobering truth. Beyond the celebration lies eternity, and without Him, you are facing a lost forever.
Don't let the festivities distract you from the only thing that matters.
Merry Christmas
