On this #WorldEnvironmentDay, we re-echo the global commitment for a safer and healthier environment as amplified by the @UN General Assembly Resolution of July 28th, 2022 - that a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment is a universal human right. We at @ProtectEarthNet in collaboration with our global partners remain faithful to this commitment for a safer environment ecosystem. That’s why we are working with @BornFreeUSA to eradicate plastic waste in some parts of Nigeria considering the immeasurable danger plastic waste pose to the survival of mammals and community health in general.
Today, thanks to that collaboration, many market women in some select communities in #NasarawaState are embracing alternative livelihood vocations contributing to a healthier community.
