Campaigning against plans to destroy hundreds of acres of green belt countryside surrounding our village, to make way for housing built next to the M25.
@BRCWCo @Talk21Gingertom @sean_lea@HS2ltd We're not disputing that. Our quarrel with HS2 is due to its late night works, which you initially suggested we shouldn't have with them, because we are close to the M25. I must admit, it feels like we're going round in circles here.
@BRCWCo @Talk21Gingertom @sean_lea@HS2ltd We appreciate there's going to be noise and in the most part accept that. However, what we aren't willing to accept, is noisy work, coupled with deep vibrations taking place as late as 11pm on weeknights, when residents have work/school the next day. https://t.co/u0vmbfAnR0
@BRCWCo @Talk21Gingertom @sean_lea@HS2ltd Sorry to hear that, but I'm still unsure as to what you're getting at here? Should we be grateful, compared to what's happening elsewhere in the country?
HS2's South Portal site is the project's largest site - it isn't just a section of plain line that we're being affected by.
@BRCWCo @Talk21Gingertom @sean_lea@HS2ltd That might well be the case, no two areas are the same. Are you suggesting the dozens of residents (that we've spoken to alone) are all making it up. We've all got better things to be getting on with that to just kick a fuss up about nothing. As suggested, pay a visit to the area
Latest on the Ruislip RFC HS2 foam - HS2 says tunnelling paused for 2 hours on Saturday. Foam was slurry. It says the site is safe but being monitored with extra anchors to stop subsidence. Locals are far from convinced & very concerned.
@BRCWCo @Talk21Gingertom @sean_lea@HS2ltd The noise from the M25 isn't comparable to the noise being created by HS2 as late as 11pm at night. That's what residents are upset about. It's quite simple to understand if you actually think about it.
So the eruption from the HS2 tunnel at Ruislip Rugby club is still bubbling at least 48hours since it was first reported on Saturday 18th Feb. Need the @EnvAgency to tell us what it is and how much has been lost into aquifer. This raises questions about all HS2 tunnels.
@HS2ltd@PLINX_UK@ChangeMakerSE How are the community benefiting from the bubbling sink hole that has appeared at #Ruislip Rugby Club ? Good job the public reported it to you. So you could put a fence round it and a hastily laminated danger notice
@ncedigital@HS2ltd Who cares? Why don't you report on how the project is affecting communities like ours, where residents are being kept awake at night because of noisy works?
Not to mention busier roads, pollution and irreversible environmental damage.

Thanks @victoriacook and the team at @BBCLondonNews for raising awareness of our ongoing battle with @HS2ltd to first of all, accept that its noisy night-time works are affecting our community and secondly, find a resolution.
