Hard days do not mean God is distant. They often mean He is carrying you more than you realize. Lean into that. Let Him steady you.
Some days stretch you more than you expected. You wake up tired, the problems feel heavier than usual, and your patience runs thin.
But even on the rough days, you are not walking alone. God strengthens you in quiet ways you may not even notice at the moment.
A peaceful thought. A moment of clarity. A reminder that you’ve made it through worse before.
Prayer:
Lord, give me strength for the moments that feel too big for me. Calm my heart, steady my steps, and remind me that You are with me in every struggle. Help me trust Your presence today. Amen. Love y’all
Bell Bell Pepper Stuffed Sandwich: Your Low-Carb, Gluten-Free Hero
Craving a sandwich without the bread? Swap the carbs for crisp, colorful bell peppers! This genius hack delivers all the flavors and fillings you love while slashing calories and eliminating gluten. Perfect for keto, low-carb days, or anyone wanting a fresh twist.
**Ingredients (serves 1, ~350-450 calories depending on fillings):**
- 1 large bell pepper (red, yellow, or orange for sweetness)
- Your favorite proteins: sliced turkey, ham, roast beef, or grilled chicken (3-4 oz)
- Cheese slices or crumbled feta
- Veggies: lettuce, spinach, tomato slices, avocado, cucumber, red onion
- Optional: mayo, mustard, olive oil drizzle, herbs, or hot sauce
**How to make it:**
1. Slice the bell pepper in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and ribs for a clean “bun.”
2. Layer ingredients inside one half: start with lettuce to keep things crisp, add protein, cheese, veggies, and sauces.
3. Season with salt, pepper, Italian herbs, or everything bagel seasoning.
4. Cap it with the other pepper half. Press gently and secure with toothpicks if needed.
**Pro tips:** Grill the assembled pepper for a warm, smoky version. Use mini peppers for bite-sized snacks. One large bell pepper adds only ~6g net carbs and a burst of vitamin C—way better than bread!
This handheld meal feels indulgent yet light. The pepper’s natural crunch replaces bread texture beautifully, while keeping everything juicy and contained. Great for meal prep, picnics, or quick lunches. Customize endlessly: Italian sub-style with salami and provolone, Greek with feta and olives, or veggie-loaded for plant-based days.
Skip the bloat, enjoy the crunch, and stay on track deliciously!

Hello,
I'm going to be real with you, I almost didn't write this today. I have been working diligently on a veterans’ campaign and a podcast for them.
I was talking about integrity. And the definition hit me again like it always does: integrity is who you are when no one is watching.
Not who you post about being. Not who you are on Sunday. The version of you that shows up when there's no applause, no audience, and the only accountability is God.
I told a story today about a grass cutting job I had back home. First day on the job, I scratched the woman's Range Rover when I was moving the grass cuttings to the curb.
Here's what I've learned: when you apologize for something nobody even knew about yet, it builds trust faster than anything else.
And when you hide it? Eventually it surfaces. Pride comes before the fall. What happens in the dark will come to the light, and if someone else is the one bringing it to the light, you lose all trust in an instant.
Proverbs 10:9 says it plainly: "Whoever walks in integrity walks securely. But whoever takes crooked paths will be found out."
So here's your challenge for today:
Ask yourself two questions. Would I be proud if my hidden life became visible? And are there areas where what I'm saying and what I'm doing don't match?
Take note. And then make it right before somebody else does it for you.
Your reputation is what people think you are. Your integrity is who you actually are. Make sure they're the same thing.
