The real issue is the total breakdown of security across Uganda. Day by day, armed robberies, shootings, and killings of innocent people especially mobile money agents and cash handlers have become normal. Illegal guns are everywhere, criminals roam freely, and ordinary Ugandans live in constant fear. From Soroti to Kampala, Mukono, and beyond, people are being attacked in broad daylight or early morning while just trying to survive.

After 40 years in power, this government has failed miserably to secure the country. Instead of building a safe environment where people can work without looking over their shoulders, we see rising insecurity, proliferation of firearms, and police always playing catch-up after lives are already lost.

How many more Patricias must die before real change happens?
We demand full prosecution of these killers and every other criminal terrorizing our communities. But more than that, we demand real security for all Ugandans not just press statements and occasional arrests.

Enough is enough. Our people deserve to live, work, and move freely without this constant terror. The blood of the innocent is crying out.
Rest in peace, Patricia Kokunda. Justice must be served.

They denied him bail, denied him the chance to say goodbye, and now you have the audacity to come here attacking @HEBobiwine Wine and @NUP like we’re the problem? Shame on you!

You and Museveni’s government are the reason this country is in ruins! 40+ years in power, and our hospitals are still death traps no drugs, no doctors, no equipment. Your big people jet off abroad for treatment while poor Ugandans rot and die. That’s the real crime here!
Instead of showing even a little sympathy for a grieving family, you’re busy defending the same system that keeps crushing us. NUP people have been supporting Alex and the family through this pain, while you lot throw stones.
Rest in peace, Mrs. Waiswa. May God rest your soul and give strength to your family.
