في بعض الخطابات، يتحول كل ما سمعوا به إلى ملك لهم، وكل ما رأوه إلى جزء من تراثهم. حتى أغنية الراي لم تسلم من محاولات السطو على أصلها وتاريخها وهويتها، مثلما أثير الجدل حول الكسكس، والطاجين، والقفطان، والقندورة، والكاراكو، والحايك، والجلابة، والقشابية، والبلوزة، وغيرها من عناصر التراث.
لكن التاريخ لا يُكتب بالرغبات، ولا تُغيَّر الحقائق بتكرار الادعاءات. فالتراث الأصيل يبقى شاهدًا على جذوره، وتحفظه ذاكرة الشعوب والأمم قبل أن تحفظه الوثائق.
نحن الأصلي والباقي لا يحسن حتى التقليد !!!

🇩🇿🇺🇸 À 98 ans, l'Américaine Elaine Mokhtefi, née Elaine Klein, devient officiellement citoyenne algérienne. Elle a obtenu la nationalité algérienne en vertu d'un décret présidentiel du 23 juillet 2026, publié au dernier numéro du Journal officiel. Une naturalisation qui vient saluer un engagement de toute une vie aux côtés de l'Algérie.

Née le 10 décembre 1928 à New York, Elaine Klein découvre la cause algérienne après son installation à Paris dans les années 1950. Très vite, elle s'engage auprès des militants anticolonialistes. En 1960, elle rejoint à New York le bureau du Gouvernement provisoire de la République algérienne (GPRA), avant de s'installer à Alger après l'indépendance.

Journaliste à l'APS (Algérie Presse Service), elle participe également à l'organisation du Festival culturel panafricain de 1969. Au fil des années, elle côtoie Frantz Fanon, Ahmed Ben Bella, Mohamed Sahnoun, Fidel Castro, Ho Chi Minh et les Black Panthers, faisant d'Alger un véritable carrefour des mouvements de libération.

En 1972, elle épouse le moudjahid et écrivain Mokhtar Mokhtefi. Malgré son départ d'Algérie en 1974, elle reste profondément attachée au pays. En 2018, elle publie ses mémoires, Alger, capitale du Tiers-Monde : combattants de la liberté, révolutionnaires, Black Panthers, dans lesquelles elle retrace cette période historique.

Par cette naturalisation, l'Algérie rend hommage à une femme qui a consacré une grande partie de sa vie à défendre la Révolution algérienne et les luttes pour la liberté à travers le monde.
