some news: I'm stepping into the VP of Marketing role at @0xPolygon to lead our marketing team.

Flight home:
Departing 3p ET, boarded, pushed back, returned to gate, deplaned. Delayed until 9pm ET.

Rebooked to American. Paid $88 to stay in “comfort” and $90 for bags. Departing 750pm, get bags from delta, exit airport, re enter airport, recheck on AA, walk 5 miles to gate.

AA flight delayed until 10:06. Go get bags, go back to delta for 9pm (delayed) flight.

Can’t get bags, they’re staying on AA departing at 10:06, but I’m not. I can wait at the airport for them or call to file a claim. Unclear what’s actually happening.

Get to 9p delta flight, delayed until 10:15. AA delayed until 10:25.

Now: in the air on delta, my bags are ten minutes behind me on an AA flight, and me thinks Delta owes some serious fucking compensation.
