Some states give 10% to General categories. Sometimes it does not even exist.

Worst part is the data is not even available at the any government sites.

Please note:
We don't want just National Commission for General Category.

We want National Commission for General Category with SAME CONSTITUTIONAL STATUS & POWER as NCSC, NCST and NCBC.

A toothless NCGC is useless.

SC/ST voters have options such as Congress, ASP, BSP.

OBC voters have options such as AAP, SP, BJP, and RJD.

Even Muslim voters have options such as Congress, TMC, AIMIM, and SP.

But voters from the General Category have no real political option, and every political party knows this. That is why they never give much importance to the General Category, not even the BJP, whose core support base includes General Category voters. Even leaders from the upper castes remain silent on this issue.

The General Category is also estimated to account for around 24-30% of India's population.

Overall, the General Category has now become a politically neglected section of Indian society.

Don't throw away your vote because of Hindu Nationalism or No Hindu Nationalism or some other propaganda.
