When I was a teenager, I had a recurring lucid dream of training giant machines. I would stand in the center of an arena, dwarfed by fierce mechanical titans who did not respect each other, but listened to me.

I always thought it was because I was a Transformers fan, but I think I see what my psyche was trying to tell me, now.
