I know it's tough sometimes, but honoring our struggle (journey) honors God's struggle.
Strangely, I find some measure of peace in knowing my small journey is nowhere near the difficulty of God's, but honoring it supports God's love for us all and the magesty of God's creation.
Dear God, thank you for all the wonderful moments in our lives. Please guide our politicians and community leaders to see the best solutions for the best outcomes for all of us. Ahmen
@NBAFilmSessions The real tragedy here isn't Luka going to the Lakers. It's the sleight to Kyrie and the boys. They've worked their butts off, and are a pretty incredible group of players, while Luka got 'healthy' and he's back on the court as soon as he's traded?!?
I've been learning to manage my money. Keeping track of small expenses. Eating at home or brown bagging it instead of eating out, paying bills before entertainment purchases, meditating instead of medicating..
I haven't gotten any richer, but I'm a lot less poor!
I transform my life every time I make the conscious choice to play attention to how good things are instead of letting my lower brain functions focus on the bad in the world.
Stress melts away, and I escape the sympathetic (fight, freeze or flight) nervous chain reactions.
Stress doesn't kill. Stress keeps us alive, and helps us get things done.
The people who push agendas that make things seem way worse than they are are manipulating your stress system to kill you.
Don't play their game!
@LivelyMav2 @chriskindafit Folks don't understand the difference between NBA shape and real life shape...
A lot of NBA players don't understand the difference between regular season fit and championship fit.
I think it took MJ 6? yrs to really get there. Kobe seemed to know from day 1, but he had Mike.
@Adam_Mares They need to stop calling fouls for players who spend more than half of the game laying on the ground.
It's rediculous when some of the most co ordinated people in the world get knocked over every other play.
@Mavs_FFL I think Nico traded for AD so the Mavs could trade up to the #1 spot for Flagg. Now they've got AD and the #1 spot. With Kyrie, Clay, PJ and AD: Flagg may have one he⁷⁷ of a rookie year.
@squish41 The idea that the NBA gifted the Mav's the #1 pick because of the Luka trade is a bit obsurd.
If Kyrie doesn't get hurt, the Mavs make the playoffs n have 0% chance 2 win the lottery.
Now trading for AD, for trade bait 2 trade 4 Flagg, that's actually in D Realm o Possibility
We are blessed to live in a country where we are allowed to be selfish. Many are not allowed that privilege.
With that privilege comes a responsibility: we need to moderate, if not supress, our selfishness whenever possible.
For, too much selfishness will revoke our privilege
