Fashion as a force for meaning.
Last week in #Zurich, we came together to talk about mental wellbeing through design. Not as a concept. As lived experience.
.“From darkness, I create” reflects a reality many carry, often silently. Fashion can hold that truth.

Fact: Ethiopian Airlines (ET) successfully, professionally & with respect transported 17.1 million passengers around the world this year. #Ethiopia
Fact: ET follows globally accepted policies & procedures to handle overbooking situations similar to what you described in your original post. By the way, overbooking is a very routine practice in the airline business around the world including here in the U.S. especially during peak travel season such as the current summer holidays.
Fact: You didn’t include in your orginal post ET’s views and include their factually irrefutable evidence nor did you include a video of the full context of the situation - pre and immediately post disembarking of the passenger. Therefore, ET had to separately issue an official statement on Twitter (which went viral with more than 1.0 million views) describing the situation and refuting the details and context of your post.
ET’s statement, which I read and posited in its entirety on my Twitter page, didn’t call you a “liar”. ET just stated that your post contained statements which were contrary to the actual facts.
Conclusion: As a seasoned traveler who also happens to make a living as a news reporter, it would have been more appropriate if you were to have reported the disembarking of the one passenger taking into consideration the full facts and context and after contacting ET but before posting so that the public is informed more accurately, comprehensively and thoughtfully.

🚀 This is @ProwahA!
PROWAH joined forces with Lean In Switzerland and @on_running for an event that transcended boundaries. We immersed ourselves in the awe-inspiring documentary "Je suis noires" by Rachel M'Bon. It was nothing short of phenomenal. 🌟
