Day 1β¦ and I already built something (Happy dance ππΌ)
AI prompt β code β working UI
Minimal, but yeahβ¦ this changes everything β¨
Building in public #devanddesign
Iβve spent a lot of time designing on figma
Now itβs time to start building products using AI and AI agents
Just joined a Design to MVP bootcamp by @devanddesignhq focused on turning UI/UX ideas into real, working products using AI.
Thanks to our amazing tutor @Joe_brendan_
Building my portfolio in public; sketching early layouts for Studybuddy.
Turning structure into screens, focusing on clarity before visuals.
#BuildingInPublic#UXDesign#Wireframe
Information architecture helps clarify what the product needs before jumping into screens.
I mapped a conceptual IA for Studybuddy to design with clarity and reduce back-and-forth later.

Building my portfolio in public - choosing a calm, encouraging color direction for Studybuddy.
Designing for focus, motivation, and long study sessions without eye strain.

Building my portfolio in public - defining how Studybuddy should feel.
Calm. Encouraging. Supportive.
Designing for consistency, not pressure.
All done on figjam.

Defining the core problem before jumping into UI.
Study Buddy isnβt access to learning.. itβs consistency, accountability, and motivation for online learners.
This is the problem Iβm designing around in public.
Next: defining how it should feel.

I am designing my portfolio in public.
Project 01: Studybuddy; a web app for online learners (bootcamps, online courses, self-paced students).
Iβll be sharing my thinking from problem definition to final UI.
This FigJam board is where it starts.

@brendanodris Thanks!
FigJam has been great for structuring early thinking, especially separating observations, assumptions, and open questions.
For this use case, itβd be amazing to have lightweight templates specifically for problem framing and early product thinking.
Overall amazing ππΌ

I didnβt know Figma could do this much π₯
Day 05 of my illustration series. Todayβs challenge was perspective, motion + multiple charactersβ¦ all built with simple Figma vectors.
Progress is progressing. ππΎβ¨
