But our fixation on carbon footprints is distracting from the desperate need for serious government policy, which is where the real action must happen.

Single or multiple point of entrance is key in resolution planning. I am less sure about its relevance in resolution practice. No practical cross border experience yet since current SSM and SRM institutions became active #srbresolution2019
On continuity of functions in resolution, group structures and (group) outsourcing are key. Is there a discrepancy between going concern governance and resolution governance? Shouldn’t be, at least not for key functions. But which ones will turn out to be key? #srbresolution2019
EDIS strangely still a stuck issue. So we need to look at alternative versions of EDIS to solve deadlock. Agree with Berrigan that helps mostly with smaller banks. But aspects will help though, in setting benchmark ‘normal’ burden sharing also for big banks. #srbresolution2019
Liquidity: Laboureix supports traditional role of central banks in liquidity provision to banks in problems. Indeed worked well in past crisis. Exception when central banks have insufficient bulk (eg Iceland), in variation of sovereign doom loop. #srbresolution2019
