I’ve really had difficulty taking a stand in this Lindsay matter, especially as a physician and a Mother that had postpartum blue sliding into postpartum depression, but after reading the facts you wrote here, I think I tilted more towards Lindsay side…
Rebecca considered her for BIPOLAR and prescribed medication. Bipolar medication are highly regulated; and for it to be prescribed to her, She was treated for it as a DIAGNOSIS.

She told her family she HAD THE THOUGHT OF HARMING THE KIDS. At that point, she is not in the mental state to decide if they should take the kids from her or Not. They should have taken her to the facility immediately and Separate her from the Kids.

Lastly, She was Happy the Morning she did it…that’s Why it’s Called BIPOLAR Disorder with Psychosis…

I’ve also read that she’s not been adhering to medications for a long time, her family and society let that passed…

They failed her and fail those children…

Do I support the Act of killing those children? Definitely NO!!
Do I support the idea of her been released to the public? No too
I think she should be confined to a mental health facility probably for a close watch for a long period of time…

Almighty Trousers

A few weeks ago just like it happens from time to time, I saw the conversations on the TL about trousers

I kept quiet because I did not feel permitted in my spirit to talk for a number of reasons

But now I do not just feel led but actually a necessity to talk about it

I grew up super conservative. And trousers were something that was frowned upon. Even called a sin by many

Then I started actually reading my Bible. And knowing God for myself

And I understood that God wanted modesty and moderation from godly women. So I got conflicted because there’s nowhere in scripture that it says trousers are a sin

The Deutoronomy 22:5 that is quoted to push this is not read in context. All through Deutoronomy, ceremonial laws were given to the children of Israel to distinguish them from godless people

That’s why trousers were not mentioned there

In that Same dueteronomy, it says that different crops should not be planted on the same patch of land

So any of you that has a garden with scent leaf and Ugwu are going straight to hell by that same logic

It says men should not shave corners of their beard.

So all our brothers who have clean shave and carve their beard?? Hell straight

But we never bring these ones up.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, in the New Testament, the idea of separation still stands. We are to be different in motives and lifestyle from unbelievers.

This is why you should not wear tattered jeans that are torn and would show your skin

Or tight bum shot trousers that are basically like underwear. That’s what Deutoronomy was saying.

Trousers just like almost everything in this can be a sin.

Just like Television or phones and iPads. It depends on how you use.

Many things in themselves are not the sin. But the abuse of it can be sinful

If you’re watching pornography and all sorts of lewd rubbish your device is the devils box

Skirts can be a sin. Gowns can be a sin. If it’s short, super tight and showing your nakedness

Trousers can be modest. Very modest in fact.

A lot of times, God gives people instructions for their lives and they make it a doctrine for everyone else. Like for Samson, God said he should not eat honey, alcohol or cut his beard. That rule was for Samson.

If Samson being a judge in Israel tells everyone else to do the same, that’s error.

It’s ok if you don’t want to wear trousers. It’s not compulsory. Infact a lot of us spent most of our lives not wearing and it did not change anything

But calling something a sin, then saying that sisters can wear it for NYSC, or for sports or military women can also wear is Tom foolery. If something is a sin according to the word of God, then there’s no excuse

My wardrobe is 99% skirts, gowns and wrappers.

I grew up like this and I find it very feminine and beautiful. When the need calls for it, I put on pants and you best believe I’m on my way to heaven.

The biblical rule of modesty is covering your nakedness

Honestly, this should be basic.

May God help us all!

PS: To my young conservative girlies, don’t just read what I’m saying. Open your Bible, read it. Ask the Holyspirit to give you understanding and enlighten your heart. Don’t just go to church. Read the Bible and know God for yourself.

I think I had always wanted to know what was on the other side.

I grew up in a Christian home. Daddy is an Evangelist (Pastor), and Mum is a deeply devoted believer.

So growing up, everything was church, Jesus, prayer, Bible study… everything.

And honestly, at some point, it started to feel like a burden to me.

I wanted to know what life outside all of that looked like.

I wanted to experience the world for myself.

And eventually, I did.

I got to see the other side.

At first, it was fun.

It felt exciting. I thought, “So this is what I’ve been missing?”

But it didn’t take long before things started changing.

I lost my peace.

I started drifting further and further away from God.

And before I knew it, I was becoming someone I didn’t even like.

I had no joy.

No peace.

And definitely no hope.

The things I thought would make me happy were actually taking more from me than they gave me.

And then, somehow, I found my way back to Jesus.

Or maybe I should say, Jesus found me again.

And honestly, running back to Him became one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.

Because now I know something I didn’t know then:

There was nothing on the other side that was worth losing Jesus for.

And I pray someday soon, you will find your way back to Jesus
