GCS schools on the traditional academic calendar will begin the 2020-21 year on Aug 17 with 9 weeks of remote instruction. GCS is still considering how students will return to the classroom after the 9 weeks.

We closed out our year w/ a virtual celebration w/staff & students. There were tears of joy and a lot of laughter. They learned from us, but most importantly, we learned from them. This has been the best year ever for students at Prutte SCALE! We will miss you all! @GCSchoolsNC

(1/3) Earlier today, city and county leaders announced a “stay at home” declaration for Guilford County, effective Friday at 5 p.m. This means that GCS schools and buildings will be closed to the public and most employees will continue to work from home.
