Is nobody going to acknowledge the fact that Kauffman-Renn already had his five years?

My issue has nothing to do with him entering the draft, it's the fact that he wouldn't even be eligible under the five-in-five rule because this year will be his sixth season!

Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark on Kansas adding Trey Kauffman-Renn, despite new conference rules barring teams from adding pro athletes:

"He was automatically put in the (NBA) Draft, he didn't declare for the Draft. That is the distinction."

Huge for Kentucky athletics

.@KentuckyWBB starts the season ranked #14 in the @AP_Top25, their highest preseason ranking since 2021-2022 (#13)

Kentucky women’s basketball comes in at No. 14 in the first AP Poll of the season…

ESPN had this squad at No. 17 in September, I disagreed. My point still stands with the AP Poll. It appears the country is still sleeping on the Cats.

The No. 14 ranking is the highest to start the season for the Cats in the Kenny Brooks era

[Kentucky Women’s Basketball @KentuckyWBB]

Don’t sleep on the Cats. 👀

[Peyton Pruitt @PruittMedia]

@mchappell51 Any idea if they switched the green dot again? Davis-Gaither not out there on the third down play

[Peyton Pruitt @PruittMedia]

Stein’s biggest positive to #BBN might be the reason the Cats lose this game… gotta go up 4 there

I’m of the belief that ALL Battle of the Bluegrass matchups, no matter the sport, should be Blue vs Red uniforms. Should just be tradition at this point

Make it happen

[Jenna Lifshen @jensreporting]

I think by far the most frustrating part of the AP rankings for Kentucky is that when UK wins the immediate reaction isn’t that Kentucky might actually be a good football team. It’s that their opponent must be worse than everyone thought.

Instead of giving Kentucky credit for how well it’s playing, people immediately diminish the quality of its opponents.

At what point does the conversation shift from what the other team did wrong to what Kentucky is doing right?

[Peyton Pruitt @PruittMedia]

The Cats at No. 15 in the AP… highest since 2022. #UKFootball is back

Early morning debrief after Kentucky’s comeback victory in Columbia: Kenny Darby deserves to be in All-SEC discussions.

He’s been an amazing addition to this offense and we *hopefully* get to watch him in the blue and white for at least two more seasons
