The hybrid National Treasury’s Macro-Fiscal Engagement Session is under way. This session brings together civil society, interest groups, citizens, and government to discuss the budget process and provide an overview of the country’s macro-fiscal situation.

Minister of Finance, Mr Enoch Godongwana, told the Macro-Fiscal Engagement Session that the starting phase of engaging on fiscal policy matters. “We are calling you to engage you, to hear your views. Advise us and continue to engage us.”

The Macro-Fiscal Engagement Session has concluded. Members of the public are invited to make their contribution through written submissions to [email protected], with no more than three pages. Submissions should be sent by 30 August 2025.
