@chas_clifton@fakehistoryhunt Philip Madoc did the BBC Radio 4 versions and was excellent. I never believed Derek Jacobi as a soldier turned monk. In the books, he was supposed to look like he could still take care of himself in a fight, which Jacobi never did.
@5hortcable@shortcanuck1@OneNerdyOpinion@LoriPettit12 Sweeter than Scottish tablet? For the non-Scots, tablet is a delicious Scottish sweetie that consists of sugar, butter and milk and will make your teeth melt at twenty paces.
@shortcanuck1@OneNerdyOpinion@LoriPettit12 I'm in Scotland and I've never heard of doughnut holes (or timbits)! What do they do with all the doughnut holes here? Do we recycle them back into doughnuts in a neverending doughnut production line? Are we missing out on a sugary treat? Another thing to worry about.
@OneNerdyOpinion@LoriPettit12 My dog had the same. Surgery worked really well and then he was on special food after that. He lived a long and happy life! I'm sure Spike would want you to have a second doughnut.
@LucyJayneWhite1@SusanFairweathe@JamesReform@reformparty_uk Ok. I'll spell it out for you. Alumni is plural. Unless you are two people you are an alumna, if you are female, or an alumnus if you are male or not gender specific. You are not, on your own, an alumni. Your education is nothing to brag about.
@OneNerdyOpinion Try looking at Bella Coco videos. Get yourself a decent crochet hook ( I like Clover soft touch because they have a nice grippy handle) and something like worsted thickness yarn. Don't start with black or dark yarn as it's a nightmare to see the stitches. From a Scottish Ramsay!
