How many more steps should a victim take before the system acts?

My iPhone 16 pro max was stolen during Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha. We immediately filed an FIR, visited the Cyber Crime Cell, and shared the Apple Find My location with the police. The phone is currently traceable in Kaliachak, Malda, West Bengal.

Despite providing actionable evidence, nothing has happened. We are being asked to wait while the phone remains traceable. By the time action is taken, it may be too late.

What is the purpose of filing an FIR or approaching the Cyber Crime Cell if victims are left to chase their own stolen property? We did everything expected of us, yet we feel completely abandoned by the system.

I request @PMOIndia @narendramodi @HMOIndia @AmitShah @Cyberdost @odisha_police @PuriPolice @WBPolice @KolkataPolice @SPPuri1 @MohanMOdisha to intervene immediately and ensure coordination between the concerned authorities before this opportunity to recover the phone is lost.

We are not asking for favors. We are asking for the help that every citizen deserves after reporting a crime.

URGENT: PLEASE HELP

My 16 pro max iPhone was stolen during Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha. I immediately filed an FIR, reported the IMEI on CEIR, enabled Lost Mode, and visited the Cyber Crime Cell with all the details.

Despite providing the Apple Find My location showing the phone’s current location in Kaliachak, Malda, West Bengal, no concrete action has been taken so far. We have done everything expected of us as citizens, yet we are still waiting for meaningful assistance.

The device’s location is available through Apple Find My and has been shared with the authorities. We request the concerned police agencies to coordinate and recover the device before it disappears again.

I urge @odisha_police @PuriPolice @WBPolice @Cyberdost @PMOIndia to please intervene and help. Citizens expect timely action when there is actionable evidence available.

We pay taxes and place our trust in law enforcement with the hope that victims of crime will receive prompt support. I sincerely hope this case receives the attention it deserves.

My iPhone 16 pro max black colour was stolen today (16 July 2026) at around 1:00 PM on Grand Road (Bada Danda), Puri, during the Rath Yatra.

I have:

✅ Apple Find My location screenshot
✅ IMEI number
✅ Purchase invoice
✅ Filed/reported the incident and am completing all required formalities

I respectfully request @odisha_police, @SPPuri1, @DGP_Odisha, and @cyberdost to kindly help trace and recover my phone. I sincerely appreciate the tremendous efforts of the police and security personnel managing such a large event and hope for your support.

Court ordered recovery of ₹1.54L from 2 frozen accounts on 25 Jan 2024 (Cr No. 724/2023) ✅

Yet, NO money has been refunded. Why has the @BlrCityPolice not enforced a direct court order?
