#CCGeeks and #Lawyers in my timeline. Need your help to understand my rights on this.

Had one stop flight to CCJ from Amd via @AirIndiaX (booked via @airindia ).
2nd leg of flight cancelled - operational reason. Informed at 1:15 am, 3 hours before boarding of first flight.
Was offered evening flight which didn't work for me ( 2 day trip would become 1).
Suggested multiple options to airport team. None worked.
So took first leg and took cab (8 hour drive- 7500 rs out of pocket). Aix Airport team told Air India will be responsible for compensation.

Later mailing them, they refunded base fare etc. but no compensation even though @DGCAIndia guidelines shows compensation .
First said weather cancellation (though every other flight had no issues). Now mailed saying talk with Aix team.

So my question: what are my options and rights? Who will be right person to follow up?

Asked for alternate options but none available as they informed now ( 1 mailer at 1:15 am, no whatsapp).

Could have arranged other options via other airports. Everyone is least bothered. Please help on this @airindia

So extremely poor customer service.
For a 5:50 am flight, been informed at airport of cancellation of 2nd leg of BLR to CCJ.
Staff extremely unhelpful for alternative arrangements or even clarity about @DGCAIndia guidelines refund. Even a cab can help.
