Please note the Jersey City Public Schools are open, but all outdoor activities and sports are canceled due to the heavy smoke today!
The hazy, smoky conditions produced by Canadian wildfires are expected to cause poor air quality in the state again today.

Due to air quality, all afterschool activities are cancelled tomorrow, Thursday June 8th.

There is NO CASPER.

Students will be dismissed at 2:45 pm and is advised to go straight home.

No stopping at courtyard to play or hang out with friends.

This is why phragmites are a big problem . Due to the fact phragmites are very flammable it caused this huge fire. Helping lessen the amount of phragmites in the area can help prevent this from happening! @ABC @STEMExpeditions @Ps28jc @JerseyCity
