“All you thirsty ones, come to Me! Come to Me and drink!” (Jn 7:37) He is not describing a one time event, but as John points out, He is talking about the coming of the Holy Spirit. He is talking about a continual immersion or baptism into the Holy Spirit.

and the goal, His gifts are just extra blessings. Sure He
provides for us in this life but those who know Him would follow Him even if He didn’t.

“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (Jn 7:37-38) Jesus is crying out to the thirsty people all over the world. He has cried out for the thirsty in every generation.

It's important to spend time daily worshipping the Lord in other tongues. I am not talking about petition or intercession but simply intimate worship. Speaking mysteries in the Spirit will change your life.
