Actually... I understand unnecessary division and slander. But I'd say the greatest danger to the body of Christ are wolves in sheep's clothing and the wolves protecting the other wolves at the expense of the sheep by shaming and manipulating the sheep.

Don't let her bother you.

Today's meltdown is just classic Candace.

She makes charge after charge after charge and places the burden of proof on the accused - as if 'guilty until proven innocent' is a reasonable standard, and as if I have any reason to defend myself against her in the first place.

As with all conspiracists, she relies on what I call the Preponderance of False Evidence. It's an incredibly effective persuasion tactic because it makes it seem like her case is irrefutable simply because of the sheer volume of her claims. The number of charges becomes a substitute for actual evidence, as though accusing someone of MULTIPLE crimes evidences their guilt of ANY crime.

Of course, it does not.

It does make it difficult to ever defend against her onslaughts, however. Even if you refute one of her accusations with undeniable evidence, it doesn't matter because there are still so many other charges! Surely you're guilty of some of them...

You see this with, for example, the Moon Landing Hoax conspiracy. Conspiracists will say, "If there is no atmosphere on the moon, why did the flag wave?"

If you reply with facts -- the flag did not wave, it oscillated expressly because the lack of atmosphere means there was no friction to bleed off the energy from twisting the flag into the lunar soil -- the conspiracist, rather than admitting they were wrong, just hard pivots to another charge: "Why are there two directional shadows when the only light source on the moon is the sun?"

That's the power of the Preponderance of False Evidence. It seeks to bury you not only without actual evidence, but in contravention of it. Erika Kirk isn't just accused on one thing, she is complicit in her husband's murder. And the coverup. And alleged financial malfeasance. And child trafficking. And is a lesbian. And had a bad haircut in third grade...

And, and, and...

This isn't the only one of Candace's tools on display, of course. Her manipulation arsenal is formidable.

Most all of her charges rely on Bare Assertion Fallacy, Esoteric Knowledge, Big Lie techniques, Red Herring, and just about every other trick in the conman's book.

Even the threat that implies I’m afraid of being exposed by her: “Shall I share the demented 5 page email you wrote to the staff…” Perfectly crafted audience manipulation. Guaranteed to keep people tuned in for episode two.

Of course, she is savvy enough to use just a little bit of truth here and there to ground her manipulations.

For example, I did have quite a nice wardrobe at Daily Wire -- sports coats and suits, mostly. And I did have exactly one Gucci Jacket -- made famous in the Jeremy's Razors Commercial. I did not, however, have ‘a wardrobe closet filled with tailored Gucci suits.' But the charge feels credible because some of the words weren't completely made up. It's a truth-adjacent claim. And if any claim sticks, every claim sticks in the game of character assassination.

Oh, and she loves to employ projection. Projection most of all.

"Jeremy was obsessed with the spotlight!" Certainly I am not immune to ego -- an occupational hazard for everyone in public life. But Candace has literally spent the last decade in front of the camera, on stage, in documentaries, in interviews, and on her myriad shows. Are we to assume she ISN'T obsessed with the spotlight?

Jeremy is trying to “centrally cast [himself] in everything.” Has Candace ever produced a show she wasn't the star of?

Jeremy is “the rich wife with the Amex.” Um...

Of course, Candace has never met a standard she thought should be applied universally.

Everyone who criticizes her is "obsessed," even though she has now gone six months without a single episode that didn't focus on Charlie Kirk, almost as many focused on Erika Kirk - a woman whose sole crime seems to be that she dared to become more important to Charlie and then to the entire Conservative Movement than Candace herself -- and two years fixated on a small tribe of people that represent 0.2% of the global population.

Still, taken in sum, these techniques Candace employs, coupled with her incredible instinct for marketing and "it" factor, make her an incredibly effective manipulator. I've never seen better. She has earned her success, for all the good it will do her.

I will clarify one thing, though: I have never once said that I "created" Candace.

I certainly did not create her.

I didn't write the headline of the Daily Mail piece, though I did give all of the ensuing quotes.

One of those quotes is, "I'm not the cause of Candace's talent or fame, but I did play a role."

And so I did.

I invested heavily into Candace during my tenure at Daily Wire. We expended millions and millions of dollars on her and her brand, just like PragerU and TPUSA before us.

Of course, we have all paid a price for that investment -- and indeed, we should. We should have shown more discernment, and we deserve to take some lumps.

But our failures do not justify Candace's treachery. That she has betrayed most everyone who ever invested in her is, like her talent, her narcissism, and her deep dishonesty, all Candace.

No one created her but her.

Iran built the most comprehensive civilian surveillance network in the Middle East. Cameras on every street. Facial recognition at universities. License plate readers that automatically fined women for removing their hijab in their own cars. A mobile app called Nazer that let citizens report uncovered women. Drones at beaches. The infrastructure that killed Mahsa Amini in September 2022 and crushed the Woman, Life, Freedom uprising that followed.

Israel hacked nearly all of it.

According to the Financial Times, citing two people familiar with the matter, nearly all of Tehran’s traffic cameras had been compromised for years. The footage was encrypted and transmitted to servers in Tel Aviv and southern Israel. One camera near Pasteur Street proved especially valuable. It was angled in such a way that Israeli analysts could see where members of Khamenei’s security detail parked their personal cars. Through that single camera angle, Israeli intelligence built files on the bodyguards’ home addresses, work schedules, commuting routes, and which senior officials they were assigned to protect.

Unit 8200 used algorithms to process billions of data points into what intelligence officers call a “pattern of life.” A person familiar with the process described it as “an assembly line with a single product: targets.”

“We knew Tehran like we know Jerusalem,” an Israeli intelligence official told the Financial Times. “And when you know a place as well as you know the street you grew up on, you notice a single thing that’s out of place.”

On February 28, when intelligence confirmed Khamenei would attend a morning meeting at his compound near Pasteur Street, the operation entered its final phase. Israel disrupted approximately 12 cellular antennas in the area, causing phones to appear “busy” when dialed. Khamenei’s security detail could not receive warnings. Israeli aircraft fired 30 precision munitions. The strike was carried out in daylight for tactical surprise.

Former Mossad official Sima Shine told the Financial Times that Israel’s strategic focus on Iran dates to a 2001 directive from Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Twenty-five years of patient intelligence collection culminated in a single Saturday morning.

Here is the part that should stay with you.

The cameras Israel hacked were not military installations. They were the regime’s domestic surveillance apparatus. The same cameras that tracked women who removed their hijab. The same system that sent automated text messages to women in Isfahan accusing them of “improper veiling.” The same infrastructure the Guidance Patrol used to build digital dossiers on Iranian women and girls for the crime of showing their hair.

Israel turned the tools of the morality police into the tools of the regime’s destruction.

There is a viral claim that after the assassination, Mossad wiped the morality police’s databases on Iranian women. No Tier 1, 2, or 3 source confirms this. It traces to a single unverified social media post. I will not present it as fact.

But the verified reality is extraordinary enough. The regime built a surveillance state to control its own women. A foreign intelligence service co-opted that state to kill the man who ordered it built. The cameras that watched women became the cameras that watched Khamenei die.

That is poetic justice written in code.

People in the Middle East fight to escape Islamist movements. People in the West defend them from a safe distance. George Clooney can talk casually on daytime television about the Muslim Brotherhood because he has never had to live under them. There is nothing progressive about supporting movements that people elsewhere are risking their lives to escape.
It shouldn’t be shocking that parts of the left align with radical Islam. It has happened over and over again, and it has always ended in blood. In Iran, those who helped bring the regime to power later disappeared once they were no longer useful.

20 years ago today (Aug 15, 2004), 16-year-old Atefeh Rajabi Sahaaleh was publicly hanged from a crane in Neka, Iran.

Sahaaleh was convicted of fornication under Iranian Penal Code Article 221 (a crime against chastity) when she was 13 years old. Following a police raid, she was discovered alone in a car with a boy.

She was jailed and given 100 lashes. While in prison, she was further allegedly tortured and raped by prison guards. She told her grandmother that she could only walk on all fours because of the pain.

In the following years, she was arrested twice more for crimes against chastity, and both convictions were punished by flogging and jail time.

Under Iranian Penal Code Article 136, a fourth conviction for a hadd crime for which the punishment was carried out three previous times results in the death penalty

That fourth conviction started in May 2003, when Sahaaleh was arrested at home and charged with adultery and immorality.

Police presented a report which they claimed supported the charges against Sahaaleh, but the only signatures on the report were police officers and other local authorities

The judge presiding over the trial was Haji Rezai. After Rezai interrogated Sahaaleh, she confessed to being raped by Ali Darabi, a married 51-year-old ex-revolutionary guard turned taxi driver.

Sahaaleh was raped repeatedly by Darabi over the previous three years. Judge rezai had personal grudges against her and refused to trust her testimony

When Sahaaleh realized that she was losing her case, she removed her hijab, an act seen as a severe contempt of the court, and argued that Darabi should be punished, not her.

She removed her shoes and threw them at the judge. Rezai sentenced Sahaaleh to death. Her lawyer appealed to Iran's Supreme Court in Tehran, where the verdict was upheld due to Sahaaleh's confession and three prior convictions for similar offenses

Her age was falsified to 22 to allow execution, violating Iran's own treaty obligations against executing minors. Before the noose tightened, she pleaded: "If you forgive me, I will never look into the eyes of a man again." She asked the crowd for forgiveness. She was executed at the age of 16 and her body was made to spat on by children

She was the youngest victim of Khamenei moral police apparatus which doesn't follow any law protocol or transparency.
