'Aberdeen have met a contractual clause'
So if we don't appoint him now - either he's knocked us back or St Mirren have bettered our offer. Christ.
2 months ago, I wouldn't have liked it but I'd have got on board given all he's done for them. Now? This reeks of panic. Shite.
St Mirren Football Club can confirm that we have been approached by Aberdeen FC to speak to manager Stephen Robinson in relation to their managerial vacancy.
Aberdeen have met a contractual clause in Stephen’s contract so the club has granted them permission to speak to him regarding the vacancy.
We hope for a swift resolution to this matter and will keep supporters updated.
Aberdeen FC has this morning been officially given permission to enter formal talks with St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson regarding the vacant managerial position.
The Club will provide an update in due course.
@MartinF1903 Wasn’t against a foul/pen being given, initial reaction in the stadium was a pen albeit a soft one
But for the first check on screen to show check if it’s a foul at all, but to then go from no card to red card - really felt like VAR re-refereed the game today
So after that first 20 minutes - did we just turn off or did we just get tactically outdone by Steven fucking Presley?
Mentality of this Aberdeen side is fucking pathetic
@afc1903mad@VivaSheep@JGE1903@AberIytics Morrison was the 1 CB I was referring to. McIntyre announced after the tweet (typical😂). Milne suspended for Celtic (2 game suspension from Livi).
As you say, Nilsen a backup option, but him starting as a CB v Celtic gives me the fear.
@VivaSheep@JGE1903@AberIytics Club just described it as a 'extended spell on the side-lines after sustaining a knee injury' so presumably rest of the season.
Up to 18 games still to play this season, and we've only 2 recognised CBs available (until Molloy comes back) - and only 1 available v Celtic😂
@ScottWisely5xo Literally just noticing the same thing, so many players key in the final gone. Incompetency shown over the summer needs to be studied🤣

Agreed; I rate the moves that Lutz has made (Geiger/Aremu mainly) given he's essentially had to start from scratch.
Looking at the squad now vs cup final day - 9 of the starting 11 still at the club. The bench? Only Tobers left.
19 players in the cup final squad - only 10 remain (Palaversa potentially still off to make that 9).
Must be the quickest a cup winning squad has been disassembled?

@DavidTannerTV Results not good enough, nobody disagreeing with that, but this ain't it.
Good to know that '4th-rate flops' are capable of winning silverware.
Presumably you'd rate 'a Malky Mackay, a Stephen Robinson or a Neil Lennon' as his successor?
@DandyDonSF@AFCHereWeGo Criteria for club grown is to be on the clubs books for 3 whole seasons between ages 15-21
Kjartansson will meet this criteria with ~11 days to spare I think, Frame would be 22 after 3 seasons but could still be classed as association grown going forward
