@jasonmcgowan@CoachJayHill We love you Jay. You are part of our brand. I understand money and fame elsewhere can sound enticing, but to me, being part of something bigger--the cause of Christ and his institution and LDS church are more enticing.
Texas A&M went 7-1 in the SEC and was a tiebreaker away from making the SEC Championship Game and scored 3 total points at home against a "lowly" ACC team, so I think we need to retire the "SEC teams would go undefeated in every other conference" narrative forever
The accidental data that’s hard to ignore.
Bret Weinstein’s analysis of the 80 Ivermectin Court cases reveals a mind blowing statistic.
In the 40 cases where Ivermectin was permitted 38 survived.
In the 40 cases where it was not 38 died.
Using a standard statistical formula the chances that Ivermectin had no impact are roughly 1 in 20 quadrillion.
As Weinstein put it -
‘like guessing a random 15 digit number on your first try’
Yet we were denied this treatment.
This is one of the biggest medical tragedies in modern history!!
Today’s update
EIGHTY SEVEN independent computer systems rate BYU as the SEVENTH best team in the nation on average, but one CFP committee, and their “human element,” have BYU at 11, coincidentally, just outside of the CFP field
Massey Composite ranking… link in replies
If you're going to penalize a 1-loss Power Conference team for a weak strength of schedule... BYU's SOS is better than Ole Miss and Notre Dame.
If you're going to penalize a team for not having the strongest power ratings (which incorporate prior year's history and recruiting rankings)... BYU's FPI is higher than Oklahoma's.
If you're going to penalize a team for a non-competitive / bad loss... Alabama lost by 14 to a team with a losing record and Miami lost to two unranked teams.
If you're going to use strength-of-record like you indicated you would, BYU's SOR is the second highest of teams 6-12.
BYU also (1) made its conference championship game and (2) if you sum up the wins of the teams it has beaten, it is THIRD in the country. It is hard to win games and BYU has beaten a lot of teams with a lot of wins.
This. Makes. No. Sense.
The @CFBPlayoff should be ashamed of itself. It has literally contorted itself into a pretzel to avoid putting BYU where it should be ranked (somewhere between 6th - 9th).
RT to get the info out there. They need to feel pressure.
@elonmusk My wife and I have followed your advice and now have six children; unfortunately, my #teslamodely2023 only holds 7. I'm looking for an EV that holds 8! Can you help me?
@FiredUpCoug He’s not leaving. He’s not at BYU exclusively for money. This is his dream job. Plus we could pay him $5-7M/yr no problem.
With that being said, if he were to leave, it would make me question his character and his true identity.
@TrevorThlete This says it all -- BYU is the only team here that has equal number of road and home games (since they will play a home this weekend). There is no standard in college football. The formula is simple: less road games + weaker schedule + less conference games = $$$
BYU has a right to be ticked about #11 and being 1st out of the CFP.
10-1.
6 road games.
1 ROAD loss to a top 5 team & undefeated at home.
Wins over 6 bowl eligible teams.
A win over #13 Utah.
22nd best run game.
14th scoring defense
9th Redzone offense
5th Redzone defense
#9 Notre Dame (9-2) has played 4 road games and went 3-1. They started the season 0-2. Their best win isn't against a Top15 team.
#10 Alabama (9-2) played 4 road games and went 3-1. They lost to a 5-6 Florida State team that lost to a Stanford team BYU ran out of the building.
#8 Oklahoma (9-2) lost to Texas 23-6, played only 4 home games and has ZERO style points over a P4 team.
Make one of these teams first OUT.
Video! Leaked Government Documents Reveal Massive Election Cover-Up in Utah!
Suspecting huge problems with the 2024 gubernatorial election, @phil_lyman and I have been on the hunt for more information and transparency. The AG told @donMiguelSLC and the 3rd District Court that the documents revealing a criminal investigation into @GovCox’s nomination petitions that Michael requested did not exist. But they do!
A whistleblower leaked this document to us. Two other hidden documents have also been revealed including an outside audit done by State Auditor John Dougall and the nomination petitions for Senator Don Ipson. Senator Ipson hired the same company that Cox had hired to gather signatures and these packets show that forged signatures rejected on Ipson's packets were accepted as valid on Cox's!
The information revealed in these 3 hidden documents is shocking!! There was a reason why @LGHendersonUtah and @AGDerekBrown kept these documents from us and the people of Utah.
Our elections are critical and determine the type of leadership we have in our state and the policies they implement. The people in Utah deserve to have clean elections and to be able to trust the electoral process! And there must be accountability for those who break this trust. #utpol
My great friend of many years sent me this today…
“Prophet showed up unannounced to our sacrament meeting. Let’s say about 1/3 of the parking lot was empty. The Bishop was told someone from the general authority group was going to visit his meeting and would be there in about 10 minutes.
Very interesting.
When he spoke, he said when he has a day off, without a schedule, he likes to visit random wards to feel the spirit and partake of the sacrament. His message was there a lot of things we don’t know. He said, for example, when we think of the spirit world there are more questions than we have answers.
Then he said three words are the answer to all questions. TRUST THE LORD.”
We need to call the selection committee and ESPN on their crap of trying to marginalize BYU!
Only 4 teams have 5 wins over bowl eligible opponents:
Indiana, Ohio State, Alabama, and BYU.
BYU has the #6 resume in the country.
Not that this should matter but it’s not a fluke, last year they finished with the #7 resume.
The committee need to do their job and rank the teams according to merit and data.
