I've felt really productive this week on reading. But there is one book from my recent reading that most audiences would find easier to digest. It's not just about what philosophy is about but also an exploration into how "scientism" has had such a strong influence lately.
Got some beautiful art done by @CO2_leggyboi, with many inside jokes thrown about!
Btw, the message in the book is a real quote, see if you can decode it.

@GBlackmuzzle@furscience Unfortunately, I don't know of any such research. But I am willing to bet this phenomenon contributes to feeling calm and "being more yourself" while suiting.
I managed some reading in the past couple of weeks, although most of the books probably wouldn't be too interesting to share. But two of them might spark some curiosity.
@CO2_leggyboi Not too bad. Definitely needs the syrup to "carry it"." Also wish I had whipped cream and butter in stock. Would probably add more milk next time and remove the cocoa to make the pancakes fluffier and sweeter.
They served their purpose as diabetic-friendly pancakes.
Trying a new experiment. Pancakes made with almond flour, coconut milk, cocoa, chia seeds, hemp hearts, blueberries, macadamia nuts, sunflower seeds, walnuts, and ground flax.
Oh yeah, I totally forgot, gonna be doing a raffle for hitting 600. Gonna be doing a free pack of 10 flat coloured stickers!

My friend @PsipherRaccoon and I have finished wrapping up our first multi-part project talking on how you can help a suicidal friend.

Another variation: When you form a relationship, maybe you feel the need to give someone a piece of you. But do they give any pieces back? Does the relationship have reciprocation?
Don't give so much of yourself away that you fall apart. You need to be fulfilled too.
I had a conversation the other night that led to reminding me about a mental health meme I couldn't find. @CO2_leggyboi was able to create a furry version of it. Thinking about patterns in relationships we have sometimes seen.

Some people give up a piece of themselves to make others happy. They may not want others to suffer the same fate as themselves or they feel a strong responsibility to save others. And in some, this can lead to burnout or feeling unfulfilled.
