Today, I visited Mr Ronald Mujuru at his Harare residence to check on his recovery and emotional wellbeing, a month after the tragic accident that claimed the lives of his wife, Mrs Lillian Maranda-Mujuru, and their five children.
I spent time with him, his close relatives and friends, offering comfort and encouragement. I am pleased to note positive progress as he is gradually regaining his appetite, walking confidently, and managing to sit for his examinations.
As a mother, I will continue to monitor his condition until he makes a full recovery. Sympathy must not end after burial in these quiet moments of grief, as a nation we stand with him in love, unity and support.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7 KJV
When you refuse every suggestion that contradicts God’s truth, you break spiritual influence and resist the enemy’s tactics. Refuse nonsense from the devil and give him NO place in your life.
One of the most interesting things about our relationship with God is that the more of Him you have, the more of Him you want. That hunger you have for Him is proof that you have Him.
Some believe that true hunger for God is exhibited by giving more, praying more, or adding another day to their fast. But the demonstration of that hunger is when you search for more of His word. Pursue His word, and what you find is Him.

PRAYER FOR MY SONS IN MINISTRY
“LORD, KEEP THEM UNCOMPROMISED IN YOUR CALLING”
Father,
I lift my Sons in Ministry into Your hands,
asking You to guard their hearts and minds
from the snares of this world.
LORD, in a world where temptation is rampant,
where greed and compromise seek to steal the purity of purpose,
I pray that my sons will stand firm in their calling.
Let them not succumb to the spirit of mammon
or the allure of success gained through shortcuts,
dishonesty, or corruption.
Father, guard them from the subtle whispers of the enemy
that tell them to “cut corners” to get ahead,
or to “compromise” for convenience.
Let them not sell their integrity
for temporary gain or worldly acclaim.
I pray that their hearts will be firmly anchored in You,
and that their desire to please You will always outweigh
the pull of wealth, status, and power.
May they never forget that their true treasure is found in You alone,
and that true success is measured by obedience to Your voice,
not by the size of their paycheck or the applause of men.
LORD, I ask that You protect them from the temptation to “go with the flow,”
to follow the crowd or embrace practices that dishonor You.
Give them the courage to stand alone if necessary,
to speak truth even when it’s unpopular,
to walk in holiness even when the world walks in compromise.
Father, let them remember that You have called them to be salt and light,
not to blend in with the darkness, but to shine brightly,
bringing Your truth, justice, and righteousness to a broken world.
I pray for their hearts to be set on Your Kingdom,
not on the fleeting rewards of this life.
Keep them from making decisions based on greed,
fear, or the desire for worldly success.
Instead, let them always seek first Your Kingdom,
and trust that You will provide for them
according to Your riches in glory.
Let them understand that the calling You have placed on their lives
is more precious than any earthly gain.
Let them be willing to forfeit the treasures of this world
in exchange for the eternal rewards You have prepared for them.
This Week, Father, give them wisdom to navigate the pressures they face,
the discernment to recognize false Ministerial Traps,
and the boldness to stand in righteousness,
even when the temptation to compromise is strong.
May their hearts be steadfast,
may their minds be focused,
and may their eyes be fixed on You,
the Author and Finisher of their faith.
Let them walk in purity and integrity,
not for their own glory, but for Your name’s sake.
I pray that You will keep their hands clean and their hearts pure,
so that when they stand before You,
they will have no shame,
and their works will have eternal value.
This is my cry, LORD
protect them from the from anything that would seek to defile their ministry.
May they be unshakable in their devotion to You,
unmovable in their commitment to Your truth.
I declare this Week will be marked by purity,
by integrity,
and by a relentless pursuit of Your will.
Strengthen them to stay true,
and may their lives reflect Your glory.
In JESUS’ Name,
Amen.
