Burkina Faso Minister who was found to have engaged in corruption using public funds was sacked by President Ibrahim Traore and handed over to the public to explain to them why he looted public funds
Abandoned Property:
The Yorubas returned all the Igbo houses in Lagos and other Yorubaland to them. After the Biafran Civil war.
Plus the rent accrued. And helped the returning Igbos resettled in Lagos and elsewhere in Yorubaland.
The Yorubas were happy to receive them back to Lagos.
The Niger-Delta people especially in Port-harcourt never returned them till today.
And called them "Abandoned Property"
Thank the Yoruba people today !
ZAMFARA ILLEGAL GOLD MINING:The location is in Anka LG. Sites owned by a former governor,a retired general & a serving senator. No wonder there have never been kidnapping instances at the mining sites because they are well protected. N1000 per day per labourer. Another Militia?
To all those complaining about the ministerial portfolios assigned to the North by President Bola Tinubu, I would like to ask you something:
How does having a Minister from your region directly benefit you as a common person?
Also, where was this outcry for equity when Buhari was appointing individuals from your region, irrespective of whether they merit it or not?
If we are all being truthful, northerners bore the brunt of the catastrophes during the previous administration, even though most of the so-called "top ministries" were under the control of northerners.
ASUU went on at least 4 strikes and wasted a total of almost 3 years for University Students under the leadership of a northern minister, Adamu Adamu. Sabo Nanono and Sale Mamman headed the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Power respectively and they all ended up getting sacked on heavy corruption scandals with nothing positive to show for the north and Nigeria at large. Do I need to remind you of the insecurity that ravaged our region under the watch of the northern Minister of Defense? Have we forgotten about the constant kidnappings on our highways? Can someone tell me what Sadiya Faruk, the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs did for the north? Or Zainab Shamsuna as former Minister of Finance? All you did as an ordinary person was suffer.
I think it's really hypocritical for us to be playing the equity card and we should drop this sense of entitlement. Nigeria doesn't belong to one region, moreover "the elites" of one region.
By the way, President Tinubu has given us 5 core ministries as it stands;
• Minister of Defense, Muhammad Badaru
• Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman
• Minister of Agriculture & Food Security, Abubakar Kyari
• Minister of Health & Social Welfare, Ali Pate
• Minister of Budget & Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu
But maybe some of you want to have 10 or so, just like we did under Buhari since it’s your birthright as a northerner to have all the key positions in the country.
So, whatever the case may be, stop fighting for your elites that care nothing about you and pray that those appointed should serve you to the best of their abilities.
God bless President Tinubu. God bless Nigeria. 🇳🇬
In 2017, Abubakar Sani Danladi representing Taraba North Senatorial district, rigged himself into the Senate
He was sacked by the Supreme Court and ordered to return the 3 months’ salary he collected from the Senate
In 2019, He was the Gubernatorial candidate under APC but was subsequently disqualified for lying under oath (age falsification and cert forgery)
The Supreme Court then banned him from contesting or holding political offices for 10years
Fast forward to 2023, Tinubu presented him to the Senate for a ministerial position
Tinubu is harvesting his fellow perjurers and criminals into his cabinet. Incredible!
“National Assembly was given 70Billion and let’s say each of them gets a Prado Jeep that costs at least 50 million.
A university professor is paid 450k —those who are not being owed. So in a year, he will earn N5-6M if he doesn’t touch his money.
So if he decides to buy a prado, he will need to save his salary for 10yrs without touching his salary to buy a car that was given to our politicians for doing nothing.” —Peter Obi

@Cyrus26793445@Shehumahmed@ShehuSani I shake my head, some people have this sense of entitlement.
To murder in the name of anything. Loot in the name of anything.
Foolishly and dumbly take doctrines that relate not to common sense.
Apple, an American company, is the largest company in the US Stock Market. AstraZeneca, a British pharmaceutical giant, is the largest firm in the UK stock market. SAP, a German conglomerate, is the largest concern in the German Stock Exchange.
So, how come MTN, a South African firm, is the largest company in the Nigerian Stock Market? They control almost 17% of our entire stock exchange. The second is Airtel, an Indian company, with nearly 15%.
That is why there is a downward pressure on the Naira. Because we gleefully patronise these foreign behemoths, who repatriate their billions of dollars in profit to their home countries, leaving the Naira stranded.
For every Naira traded in our stock exchange, at least 50 Kobo develops wings and flies to South Africa, India, Europe and America. And we say Nigeria is an independent nation?
And this will continue, and the Naira will go downhill. And you will grow poorer.
Unless you start patronising Nigerian brands, like Globacom Nigeria, the Dangote Group, Innoson Motors, Air Peace, and BUA, which are wholly Nigerian-owned and whose profits circulate here in Nigeria, adding value to the Naira!
Until a Nigerian company is the number one form on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, we will only blame the government when our own consumption habits as citizens are the chief causative factors for a weak Naira!
