@swaneren Disproportionate body parts make things look cute: His long, bobbed hair framing his round, soft face, button nose with a perpetual blush, large, expressive eyes, small chin, and large forehead are all considered infantile traits. Retaining these as an adult is known as neoteny.
@jearumeriamist Armin’s “power” is his emotional intelligence. While everyone around him was focused on fighting for survival, Armin never stopped seeing the potential of humanity to learn and grow and evolve as a species by using wisdom to overcome its problems.
@Tipsall001 Eh, it really couldn’t keep my attention. I’m the only person in the universe that I’ve ever met that doesn’t like the show that much. I don’t hate it. I just don’t like it that much.
@erensswanetta Armin is a feminist’s dream! 🤤Compassionate by nature, he always goes out of his way to make others feel better by sharing in their emotional pain. He’s an excellent caretaker and nurturer and a rare example of emotional intelligence in a male shounen character.
@arminiart Non-sequiter fun fact: meerkats protect each other by shielding with their bodies, especially when protecting pups. If danger appears and they cannot reach a burrow, a babysitter will gather the pups and lie on top of them to act as a shield. Mikasa’s a meerkat. :)
