@ChristiansSTDT They are in the fossil record. But people like this just think scientists are just making things up to push their theories. They don't understand science and are scared of anything that threatens their world view.
@FanOfUzakiChan Dav was already like that during season 1 of TCW when he didn't want Grevious to kill Eeth Koth. It was actually Lucas' idea to bring Maul back and Dav and his team tried to talk him out of it.
@marauder_matt The lesson was to not look for confrontation when it was not needed. To not resort automatically to violence and force. That is in a general sense. When it comes to the Sith the are an evil that must ultimately be destroyed. Yoda and Obi-wan gave up hope on Anakin.
@DisneyCanonLs The EU was C-canon. Lucas allowed others to build out the EU and he did try to keep things consistent, but he made it clear he wasn't beholden to it.
@KenobiStig@DisneyCanonLs George was heavily involved TCW. T-canon was established by Lucasfilm to take precedent over C-canon. This was all under Lucas.
@retneysholocron T-canon was established later to show that TCW and Underworld would take precedent over the EU stories that they would inevitably contradict. Also because Lucas was much more involved with TCW than any of the books, comic or games.
@retneysholocron When you hire other people to create stories in your fictional world they are inevitable going to go in directions you might not have done yourself. Establishing G-canon over C-canon ment that Lucas was not beholden to the EU can could change things if he wanted.
@LindonVoxCaster Exactly. While the Imperium can be seen as "better" than the corruption and madness of Chaos or the threat of extinction posed by Xenos, they aren't by definition "good." The people who say that it is just secretly like the imaginary of religious-totalitarianism.
@Shpingus_@LindonVoxCaster The Imperium in 30k could have been seen as a necessary cruelty for the good of humanity. But the Imperium in 40k is a backwards, ignorant and corrupt shadow of itself. It is not what the Emperor intended and it's mismanagement activity pushes people to chaos and xenos cults.
@AA_Batteries7@StarWarsDaily_ Yes, but I think the reason for that is because he is called Count Dooku in the films and shows much more than he is called Darth Tyrannus.
@DisneyCanonLs A Star Wars fan is anyone who loves Star Wars. There are many types of fans yes, but they are still fans. Mando and Groggy struggled at the box office for the same reason MotU is. Films are not doing as well as they used to.
@bea_storm4 Because he got shot on the hand which exposed the metal, which according to ST is something he never bothered to fix. Also, it is symbolically makes him more like his dad.
