Special mention must be made to the First Netball team. In 2022, we lost against Overkruin 11-62 and in 2023, we won 26-20! ππ
Our own Rythmony and Marimba conductor, Mr Mbuso Ndlovu, has composed 14 choral pieces as part of a year-long artist-in-residence programme at the University of Johannesburg. βEchoes of Heritageβ, the first of three concerts takes place in July. We are proud of you, Mr Ndlovu!
Congrats to the learners who excelled at the SANESA Core League Qualifier 4 on May 20-21: Caitrin Morrow earned two 3rd places and a 4th place in Show Jumping; Hannah Breebardt placed 4th in Show Jumping; and Hannah Roos placed 4th in Equitation and 6th in Show Jumping.
On 20 May the PHSG senior choir competed in the ATKV Applous competition in the all-girls Prestige section and walked away with a Gold certificate! Our team is extremely proud of each of our girls and very thankful to all the parents and supporters that came to watch.
On 18 May the Rhythmony ensemble participated in the ATKV competition. The ladies participated in the traditional category and sang their hearts out. They received gold for their performance. Well done, ladies!
Our basketball teams brought passion and victories this weekend, with 4 wins and 2 losses on Friday against The Glen High School, followed by an exciting Saturday with 9 wins (and 5 forfeits) out of 14 games against Cornerstone, Southdown, and Tuks. Way to go, teams!
