Farmer, railway mechanic, truck driver: that was then. Today, Volodymyr, Ivan and Yevhen are protecting Ukrainians from airstrikes by the Russian aggressor with the help of Gepard tanks.

Russia’s war against Ukraine is also a war against Ukrainian cultural identity – as shown by the destruction of the Shevchenko Theatre in Chernihiv in 2023.
