Penn FC travelled to Chinnor in what turned out to be a very competitive game between 2 sides wanting to play football. Penn nicked a late goal to register a 2-1 win. No doubt Chinnor deserved something out of the game, but that’s Football and a Cup Final now beckons! 💪👍⚽️

The Rangers played valiantly against a lively and athletic Tring side. 3-0 to Tring was a fair result, however, Rangers know and have recently proved they can play to a higher standerd as a collective. The boys know the level they can play to and will come back fighting!

The Rangers didn’t take their chances in a dominant first half, drawing 1-1 at the break, with some lovely football. A different story in the second half as a couple of mistakes led to deserved goals for Widmer end who won the match 3-1.

Somehow the Colts were on the end of a 2-0 loss despite having most of the possession and lots of chances, inc a missed penalty. A great all round performance, just need to be a little more clinical in from to of goal.

A solid performance by Penn this morning against local rivals Holmer Green. Penn were deserved 2-0 winners. Great to keep a clean sheet and chalk up another win. More to work on to improve performances but now unbeaten in 6 games.

A 3-0 loss for the Rangers in tough conditions. AFC lightning showed their quality and desire. A great debut in goal for Maddox.

A 3-2 win for Penn U12’s today. A great performance against some very good players with a couple of well-worked goals. First half full of quality, second half about desire. Well done boys!

A 2-0 win for the colts overcoming a resilient flackwell side. Huge work rate on and off the ball with some really nice combination play. A superb team performance and excited to see where the boys go from here

A tough 1-0 loss away for the colts versus chesham. The first game back after the new year and this team can go up another level next week. Unlucky not to sneak a goal back in the 2nd half in a game that deserved to be a draw

A 1-0 loss away at Chinnor in very heavy conditions for the Rangers today. Penn had the better of the chances but found the opposition goalkeeper in inspired form. A breakaway goal towards the end proved to be the difference between the sides.

A 2-1 win at Downley was reward for excellent team effort, character and hard work today. Played some good triangles and defended with good aggression. We march on….

Rangers lost to a very athletic, well organised and technically very good Haddenham team. Cannot fault the effort from the boys, just need to learn a few lessons to reach that level.

The weather meant Penn ended up playing on Astroturf and we got a game on against Hughenden after some late organising! The boys played some fantastic Football and drew 1-1 in a well balanced match of which Penn could have won. Great start to 2022 and good all round performances

An early morning trip to Crendon today for Penn. A great second half performance from the boys today. They came back from behind by working hard and sticking to our principles. Some well-worked goals and ruthless finishing. A 5-2 win with 5 different players grabbing a goal ⚽️

A 2-2 draw with Hughenden Valley today. Some quick play created good chances in the first half of a competitive game played in good spirit.
1-2 down and against the wind in the 2nd half but came on strong late on and some excellent playing out from the back led to the equaliser.

The Colts surged to a 6-3 win away at Thame this week. Deserved reward for recent consistent performances and great intensity and dedication in training. Well done Colts!

A well fought game, in extremely tough conditions saw the Rangers go down 2-0 despite having the best of the chances, especially in the first half. A great battling performance and proud of the boys!

An early start in arctic conditions saw Penn come off 4-3 winners early morning against a well organised Thame side. From 0-2 and 2-3 down that is a real boost for the kids confidence and no doubt we will continue to progress as a team.
