It’s 20 years since we narrowly crossed the line to win the bid to host the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. One of the great legacies was how our Paralympians ‘lifted the cloud of limitation’ and they continue to do so. This week, among our honorands were @jessica_jane96 and @emwiggsy .

With over 10 Paralympic and even more world champions medals between them, their resilience, dedication and courage have been inspirational to so many and I wish them many congratulations on their @lborouniversity Honorary Degrees.
