On 10 Dec 1998, 10 activists staged a protest at St George's Cathedral in CapeTown. Since then, the organisation has won victories in the courts, in politics, in clinics & in communities. As we celebrate 25 years of TAC, we acknowledge those who lost their lives needlessly #TAC25
#UHC is essential to ensure people’s health needs are met, regardless of their socio-economic circumstances, and in crisis and in calm. This #UHCDay we call on world leaders to strengthen health systems to promote #HealthSecurity and #HumanSecurity, to protect health for all!
This year’s #UHC Day theme is “Health for All: Time for Action” emphasizing the need for immediate and tangible steps in creating the world we want. It calls for reflection on a decade of progress, challenges, and opportunities in advancing #UniversalHealthCoverage#HealthForAll
