Today, Lord Mayor Talib Ahmed Bensouda met Jean-Charles ALLARD, Charge d’affaires of France. They had a fruitful discussion on supporting council development plans and developing diplomatic relations with cities in France.
KMC holds second general council meeting today and constitutes 13 committees of council to guide council activities in the coming term. The committees consist of :

The amount is meant to support the Administration in their efforts to provide better furniture at the Barracks. The Cheque was received by the Adjutant on behalf of the camp commander. Present at the handing over ceremony, was the Deputy CEO, Mr. Kajali Janneh.
KMC PRESENTS CHEQUE TO FAJARA BARRACKS
The Deputy Mayor, Madam Binta Janneh Jallow today presented a cheque of one hundred thousand Dalasi (D100, 000.00) to Fajara Barracks.
EMCCF via Samba Bah also donates through the Mayor Of KMC several hospital items to Kanifing General Hospital including Hospital Beds, Hand Wash Stations etc.
Mayor BENSOUDA today along with Lt Col Kuluteh Manneh - GAF launched the tree planting component of the EU funded KETP at the Fajara Barracks.
The project component will plant 190,000 trees in the municipality including 1000 in the army barracks.
