NPCI has quietly rolled out biometric authentication for UPI payments across major apps PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm and BHIM.

Android users can approve payments with their fingerprint, while iPhone users can use Face ID.

No UPI PIN. No typing. Just a tap or a glance.

Transactions up to ₹5000 can now be completed instantly using biometrics.

UPI was already one of the fastest payment systems in the world this makes it even more seamless.

Surprisingly, most users still don’t know this feature is already live.

🚨Gas cylinder shortage begins to disrupt daily life across India

Long queues are being reported outside LPG agencies in cities including Noida, Lucknow, Delhi and Bhubaneswar, as households wait with empty cylinders amid supply fears.

In Bengaluru, restaurants and eateries have already started cutting menus, reducing business hours, and in some cases shutting operations because commercial LPG cylinders are not reaching on time.

Reports also say food vendors in multiple cities are switching to coal, firewood, or electric alternatives just to keep kitchens running.

What started as a fuel supply disruption is now turning into a direct hit on kitchens, small businesses, and everyday food service.

Did you know you can send an email that requires an OTP before it can be opened?

Gmail has a built-in feature called Confidential Mode that lets you send more secure emails.

Here’s how it works:

1. Open Gmail and tap Compose to write your email.
2. Enter the recipient’s email address.
3. Before sending, tap the lock icon or the three-dot menu and select Confidential Mode.
4. Set an expiry time 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, or 3 months. After that, the email automatically expires.
5. Enable Require Passcode.

If Gmail shows “Missing Information”, tap Add Missing Information and enter the recipient’s phone number.

When SMS Passcode is enabled, the recipient receives an OTP on their phone when they try to open the email.
The email only opens after the OTP is entered.

In many cases, copying, forwarding, and printing are also restricted.
