Fan tea: re the recent Lit in Colour research and initiative: several women of colour were either erased or their names misspelt in the report. The research is also led by a white, middle class woman based at Oxford University who has no history of researching race.

Fan tea: All UK staff at Bloomsbury were today emailed a list of double vaccinated London office employees - meaning those not listed have been outed as not fully vaccinated and those who are listed have had ‘strictly confidential’ medical info leaked to their colleagues. oops!

@Matt_G_James @Yaslangley It’s objectively wrong to leak medical info (even if accidentally) & to take such a hostile stance on vaccination given that those most hesitant to get jabbed are often from communities who’ve been historically abused in the healthcare system, but hey 🤷🏽‍♀️

@Matt_G_James @Yaslangley I think you’re missing the point bbz. The fact that private medical data confirming your vax status is a condition of being on the list, means it’s no longer private because the list reveals that info. The fact that not all vaxed staff are on there doesn’t make it better.

@Yaslangley Yep, in the form of a rota. Employees are only put on the rota once they complete an online form confirming they are double vaxed. It outs the people who have been jabbed and by omission also outs the people who haven’t been.
