@HockeySeanie@JeffVeillette He instantly becomes your team's best player, even in his current state over the last two years. Let alone if returns to full form. The Flyers/you better have interest.
@jdueck6@ADiMarco25 The only correct answer. He's still a minimum top 10 C in the league, who you can expect to put up 40 goals, be a point per game player and control the game in all 3 zones. Let alone the potential if he ever returns to full health form.
@HStandersen@_NickRichard Why don't people understand they can't trade him... NMC means he can't be traded, waived or sent down with his consent. Do unless he wants to leave, too bad.
@ForrestSavelen@BHawkCowboy I do in fact see people call Makar generational, and that's cause he is. Schaefer is already on a pace beyond what Makar (2 years of college post draft) was at his age, but obviously still a long way to go.
@CJTDevil@JFreshHockey Bedard and Celebrini has the talent and pedigree to be that for Gen Beta, but we won't know that answer for a while. McKenna is on the way too.
@CJTDevil@JFreshHockey Shouldn't generational mean best "player" of a generation, not "players"?
Here is my take on all-time generational players.
Gen Alpha - Connor McDavid
Gen Z - Sidney Crosby
Millennials - Wayne Gretzky
Gen X - Bobby Orr
Boomers - Gordie Howe
Silent - Howie Morenz
Hoping #LeafsForever keeps this top 9.
Knies-Matthews-Willy are easily a top 5 line in the NHL.
McMann-JT-Robertson has shown great chemistry and given each winger a clear top 6 role with an elite C.
Joshua-Roy-Maccelli is a third line that has a little bit of everything.
@FAN590 easy Team Canada Swaps for Olympic Roster.
- Celebrini for Cirelli
- Bedard for Hagel
I'd also change;
- Wilson for Stone (if injured)
- Suzuki for Bennett
- Harley for Doughty
Defense Pairings:
Toews-Makar
Morrissey-Parayko
Harley-Theodore
Sanheim
Goalies:
Thompson (The Starter)
Kuemper (The Vet)
Wolf (The Future)
Montembault, Hill, and Binnington all off to awful starts and lack long term potential.
