@Patryn23@SciGuySpace And if you look at the SpaceX pad explosion, the location of the failure would have likely taken out the Draco motors/fuel lines long before any abort system could have sensed the failure in time to initiate them.
@Patryn23@SciGuySpace At some point, you have to get on. I’d rather they do it after all the dynamic thermal stress is stabilized. Apollo astronaut Gen Tom Stafford was opposed to this and was ignored. My conclusion is that SpaceX can’t do the mission without the last-minute fueling procedure.
@JamesTate121 Jill Biden deserved much worse than she got according to this BS story. And her book will undoubtedly flop due entirely to lame propaganda and intentionally false recollections such as this.
@LunarCitizens@NASA@SpaceX SLS is a fully capable system that just sent humans to the moon for the first time in over 5 decades. Starship is a shell of a rocket that has yet to even achieve low Earth orbit. Your point?
@HunterBiden Mommy’s book will be lucky to sell 30 copies. Without pudding head in the WH anymore, there’s no more influence to peddle using garbage like this and your “artwork.”
@sarahadams@MargoinWNC I’ll take Trump’s optimism and drive toward peace over this same old doomer rhetoric we keep hearing from former intel people. We all get it…and nobody is turning away from Trump.
@Mrgunsngear There was yet another one last night around midnight north of Charlotte NC. Shook houses for miles around. I actually thought somebody kicked my front door in.
@sarahadams Let them sit it out and learn that no one gives AF. If Biden or Harris had won, the whole production would have been a drag queen show. We don’t need “celebrities” anymore. 🇺🇸
@737_max8@Erdayastronaut That escape system fired 6 full seconds before the launch vehicle exploded. It was a “slow” failure. Not a sudden catastrophe RUD like this or SpaceX’s AMOS-6, which occurred during fueling. Which, BTW we have now normalized doing with the crew aboard.
@Erdayastronaut And this is why we are fooling ourselves believing that an escape system can get a spacecraft safely away from such a failure on the pad.
