@chatswithem The Anglican Church, and the Catholic Church as the dominant religion before it, has for thousands of years been the largest land owner, the richest landlord and yet expected tithes from the poorest in society.
The oligarchs have been, and still are the determining force.
@AndyBowdler56@MobiusSlit @gavinesler Yes they were. And it takes a great deal of courage to be honest and say "what we wanted, we got and what an amazing fuck up it is, now how do we improve things?"
Concentrating on the problem rather than the solution won't fix anything.
@cfcj_j@PolitlcsUK@EdConwaySky Here is the same index over the last 12 months.
Notice how even now, it its lowest it is still trading nearly a point higher than the maximum during the same period of the Tory government.
@sunbuffy@TheNewEuropean you have just exactly proved the point about misunderstanding. None of them are growing fast, but the EU has a HUGE gdp. A small percentage of a very big number is more money than a larger percentage of a smaller one.
@sunbuffy@TheNewEuropean This kind of "out performed the EU" thinking is further proof of poor maths skills. Unable to understand that high percentage of a small value is not as good as smaller percentage of a high value.
@davie_mason@Perotinus1@PeterMella5@BladeoftheS I the case of Aspartame it has been 11 years since it was reviewed. If you have any evidence for it causing harm., the EFSA should be contacted immediately.
