#summerschool day 5 was remote sensing day! We had lessons about everything we can measure with a drone (see a thermal picture of the group as an example) + we learned about drones and even had a demonstration + we had an introduction in how to use photogrammetry 🚁🛰️📷🎥

#summerschool day 4! Field day on the Albarine river: we witnessed the river drying in just 6 hours (see picture) 🏞️. We practiced macroinvertebrares sampling with @EcoFlowS (+ @SamuelMouron showing his Bou Rouch sampling skills to the group) then we did identification 🔍🐚🦟

#summerschool day 3! We visited a dam (thanks to the EDF crew for the visit and explanations) + we met local city mayors and managers of the river + we did social sciences on our perception of environmental BEAUTY! Thanks @H2oLyon @asso_graie #ZABR

First day of the Gravel Bed rivers #summerschool organized by @H2oLyon and @ZAteliers #ZABR 👩🏽‍🎓👨🏽‍🎓🏞️ today we had interesting talks about the Ain river environmental context + the links with aquatic organisms + a view of tools to define ecological flows. Next step into the river 🚣‍♀️

La grainothèque proposée par les bibliothécaires est inaugurée ce soir et intéresse beaucoup les visiteurs

L’exposition est inaugurée en présence du consul du Japon, qui a fait don de 2 beaux cerisiers à la bibliothèque. Ils seront ensuite replantés sur le campus de l’@UnivLyon1
