Everyone keeps saying that people like Raghav Chadha and others who moved to BJP are “gaddaar” because they betrayed the party’s values.

But pause for a second.

What values are we even talking about?

There was a time when Arvind Kejriwal went to Tamil Nadu, stood with Kamal Haasan, and said there are only two corrupt options in the state, DMK and AIADMK. He positioned Kamal Haasan's party as the honest alternative.

Today, the same Kejriwal is campaigning in Tamil Nadu for M. K. Stalin.And Kamal Haasan is in Parliament with support from that very ecosystem.

So what changed?

This is the same leader who once said Lalu Prasad Yadav should be in jail.
The same leader who claimed to have hundreds of pages of evidence against Sheila Dikshit and said he would never support Congress.

Today, AAP is comfortably aligned with RJD and Congress.

So again, the question is what values are we talking about?

Look at their internal history.

People like Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan were among the ideological architects of the party. Agree or disagree with them, they were consistent in their thought process.

What happened to them? They were pushed out, unceremoniously.

The people who built the party… are no longer in it.

And then there were promises.

No VIP culture.
No big houses.
No political privilege.

Fast forward to today.
Look at the residence controversies. Look at governance patterns in Delhi and Punjab.

At some point, you have to ask, If every founding principle has already been diluted…If most founding faces are already gone…Then on what moral ground are you calling others “traitors”?

Because maybe, just maybe, the bigger story is not who left.

The bigger story is what the party itself has become.

Soumyashree Bisi, 20, a B.Ed student at Fakir Mohan College, Balasore, approached her HoD, Samir Kumar Sahu, for help with her low attendance.

Sahu allegedly demanded sexual favours in return. She got angry and left, but he kept repeating the demand and threatened to lower her marks if she refused.

On July 1, She filed a complaint against Sahu with college authorities. During the internal probe, she realised the college was protecting the HoD.

As an ABVP member, she hoped for help from the BJP govt at the state and centre. She created an X account and tagged the Odisha CM, state ministers, union education minister, NCW and others for help, but no one responded.

On July 10, the internal committee cleared the HoD. Principal Dilip Ghosh offered her “counseling” and told her to withdraw the complaint, warning she could be rusticated.

On July 12, she staged a protest on campus, met the principal and HoD, then poured petrol on herself outside the principal’s office and set herself on fire. She died two days later in hospital.

When alive, she begged and pleaded with everyone, hoping someone would listen. No one did. Once she hurt herself, suddenly everyone woke up for damage control.

HoD Sahu was arrested, and Principal Ghosh suspended. The Higher Education Dept launched an inquiry; NCW and NHRC began probes. President Murmu visited.

The Governor sought a report. NHRC and UGC issued directives; the govt told colleges to ensure ICC compliance. CM Majhi promised strict action and ₹20���lakh compensation.

All students should be equal in the eyes of the rulers. But if a student loyal to your ideology begs your govt for help and still dies like this, it’s betrayal by the very system and party she trusted.

Shame on Odisha govt. Shame on BJP.

नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन पर मची भगदड़ में 18 लोगों की जान चली गई.यह सरकारी आंकड़ा है, मृतकों की संख्या बढ़ भी सकती है.

बताया जा रहा है कि प्रयागराज, महाकुंभ जाने वाली दो ट्रेनें लेट हो गईं, जिससे स्टेशन पर भीड़ जमा होती चली गई. बताया यह भी जा रहा है कि अंतिम समय में कुंभ एक्सप्रेस का प्लेटफॉर्म बदल दिया गया इसी के चलते यात्रियों में अफरातफरी का माहौल बन गया. और दम घुटने, ��ुचले जाने से यात्रियों की मौत हो गई.

लगातार इस तरह के हादसे हो रहे हैं, रेलवे मंत्रालय की तरफ से हर बार एक ही बात कही जाती है-
"जाँच होगी, दोषियों पर कार्यवाही होगी, मुआवजा देंगे!"
और फिर अगला हादसा हो जाता है!

यह क्रिमिनल नेग्लिजेंस है! आपराधिक लापरवाही का नतीजा है!

क्या यह पहली बार हुआ जब रेलवे प्लेटफार्म पर इतनी बड़ी संख्या में यात्री इकट्ठा हुए? नहीं!

क्या रेलवे प्रशासन को नहीं पता था कि कुंभ के चलते अतिरिक्त भीड़ उमड़ेगी? बिल्कुल पता था!

क्या इससे पहले ऐसे हादसे नहीं हुए? हुए, लेकिन कुछ नहीं सीखा!

तो आखिर दोषी कौन?

भीड़ में कुचले गए लोग खुद ही ज़िम्मेदार हैं?

या फिर रेलवे मंत्री की जवाबदेही बनती है?

कहीं कोई इस्तीफ़ा? कोई जिम्मेदारी? कुछ भी?

बेगुना���ों की लाशें मुर्दाघरों में पड़ी हैं, लेकिन छवि बचाने और दूसरों पर दोष मढ़ने का खेल चालू हो चुका है.

इस तरह के हादसे पर जवाबदेही तय करने की जरूरत है.
