In a piece inside the Sunday Standard today, Barrack Muluka (who surprisingly spells his first name with a double R) has accused Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna of being driven by adrenaline and lacking respect for the President. It is not difficult to understand Muluka, given the way he prostituted himself to UDA just before the last elections while preparing the path for his master, Musalia Mudavadi.

Each time Muluka has found a forum to speak, including his appearances on TV shows, all he has done is to try to speak big English words and nothing more. You will not find one pro-people issue he articulated. In other words, Muluka is a grammar warrior with no understanding or appreciation of political dynamics. But Kenyans don't eat big English words and certainly don't pay rent with the dictionary. Muluka is a megalomaniac in his own world.
A critical look at the Muluka article attached shows that in fact, he wanted to address his master William Ruto, but needed to first attack Sifuna for relevance. All cowards live by hiding behind others.
I want to remind Muluka that ever since Jean Marie Seroney and Lawrence Sifuna, from Martin Shikuku to Tito Adungosi, James Orengo to Raila Odinga, Masinde Muliro to Chelagat Mutai; all firebrands have spoken the way Sifuna speaks now. That president that Muluka wants Sifuna to show respect has disrespected himself with all the lies and incompetence. Nobody is born deserving of respect. We all earn it.

Muluka doesn't know it, but Malcolm X was the first freedom fighter to discover that the oppressor deserves no respect because he hadn't earned it. Sifuna is a practitioner of this philosophy. If you are an elder and you demand respect, behave in a manner that makes it possible to earn it. If you hold the office of President and you therefore are the symbol of national unity, act like one and the nation will fall in line.

Muluka suffers the painful affliction called the Stockholm Syndrome. He and his brain were kidnapped by Kalenjin Incompetence when Mudavadi auctioned them. Now he thinks Sifuna, as a fellow Luhya, should fall in line with them. As a practitioner of the Big English Words politics, Muluka wouldn't understand the reality that Sifuna is on a journey different from his; the quest to deliver all Kenyans from the despondency brought upon them by Muluka's evil masters.

It is important for Muluka to note that the oppressor doesn't understand the language of politeness and dignity. Ruto is a liar. Born with a tongue vaccinated against the truth. To defeat him, Kenyans, Sifuna included, must tell him the truth. Like Moi, he doesn’t understand any other language. The more aggressive the better.
My advice to Muluka is that he should wait for PLO Lumumba so that they can go unleash sterile, hopeless English words on TV. But when it comes to realpolitik, Sifuna is on a mission and Muluka can't understand this because he doesn't have the range to lecture Sifuna about politics.
