But my kid just read “My Teacher is an Alien” and said it was the 3rd best book he’s ever read. I don’t know. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I just don’t think he’s ready for the pressure of elite sports at 10. But he had a stinkin’ good day. 3/3

Here’s the deal…
Kids need to play. Organized sports. Unorganized sports. At recess and PE. They need to jump in the pool trying to catch a ball. They need to shoot at a goal on uneven ground. They need to run through a park or woods or city streets with their sibling. 1/2

And they need to do it without college sports or heck—little league sports—on their mind.

I will cheer so hard for your kid when she gets that scholarship or when he goes pro. That is so fun.

But let them be kids right now.
