It’s a shame everyone is making this about left and right, right vs right, left vs left, the shit is stupid. I don’t blame people for mocking the death of Charlie Kirk due to the irony, nor do I condone it, but I really do hope people don’t give up that strange feeling in their gut of i just wish it didn’t happen like that. I believe most people were stunned or taken aback by the sheer gore of seeing CK get shot in real time at the same time and finding out that he passing away. Someone is profiting from this Left vs right debate and the conversation of what is the right way to mourn, and the spin on how ‘the right’ is getting people fired because of people mocking his death. I don’t want to condone or praise either side, I believe we as humans need to see that NOBODY, wether it’s the kids in schools, kids in different countries who don’t happen to be white, NOBODY, should be dying to gun violence as much as it’s happening. The more we stoke this “the left want to take our guns away!” The more we feed the system. On top of that, they are profiting off of the left vs the left as well, and blaming you if you’re a centerist (usually left saying you’re with the right) that you’re just another bystander. As much as I don’t want to quote presidents right now in an effort to push and show everyone that politicians don’t serve as much as we think they do, I think of the message Joe Biden left us before he left office at the start of this year everyday: Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power, and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms, and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead. Whenever we almost see the world for what it is, they find something to distract us… BREAK THE CYCLE! They are abusing children, they are hiding lists, they are doing everything in their power to distract us from what matters, and they are using algorithms and bots to silence us… I hope at least one person reads this; I have a low follower count so chances are low, but please. Do not let your friends and family brush these things off as “I just stay away from politics” these issues are going to come back and bite us in the ass, and it’s happening as we speak.
