@Xmusknewsx No. As long as the wearer’s face is exposed, I don’t care that they cover their bodies. I think everything but hijab, is kind of weird, but I have no issue with hijabs or chadors. There are religious women in most religions who dress very modestly & wear some head covering.

Rep. The picture Fine paints of the Democratic Party in 2026: 𝐉𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐬. Dan Goldman—one of the most reliably left-wing Jewish voices in Congress, beloved during the Trump impeachment years—is now putting out what Fine describes as “𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧.” The New York antisemitism wave is real enough that a congressman who was once bulletproof is now scrambling for his seat.

Fine also named the Maine Democrat candidate who had a Totenkopf — a Nazi concentration camp tattoo — on his chest. That’s Graham Platner, whose case has drawn bipartisan attention. Fine’s point: the Republican Party has internal antisemitism problems too, but “𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘑𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘰-𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘴. The historical anchor Fine reached for matters. George Washington wrote a letter to the Touro Synagogue in Newport, Rhode Island in 1790—the first Jewish congregation in the United States—𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜. Fine cited it as evidence that Jewish identity and American identity have been intertwined since the founding, and that the Republican Party is the one carrying that legacy forward.

“𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘑𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘵, 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘥.” Fine said he’s not worried about his own re-election. He’s more worried about letting the same antisemitic toehold take root in the GOP that has already swallowed the Democratic Party whole.
