@GovAbbottPress Yet Texans only get 51% of jobs and Texas state agencies have many foreign workers who initially came here on visas and they use our taxpayer money to hire contractors who refuse to hire only Americans to work on state projects
One thing this generation is doing right: they are starting to reject the soul-crushing corporate grind that defined the last few decades.
More young Americans are choosing trades, entrepreneurship, side hustles, and remote work that actually lets them live instead of just survive. They are prioritizing real skills, self-reliance, and time with family over climbing ladders that lead nowhere.
They saw their parents burn out and said no thanks.
That instinct to build something on their own terms and protect their own time is a healthy cultural correction. High-trust societies need people who value real work and real life, not endless meetings and debt.
It is one of the better trends we are seeing.
What positive shift have you noticed in the younger people around you?
